 All fitness classes last approximately 45minutes - 1 hour and are FREE with membership!
Cardio Kickboxing Circuit Fitness

The name says it all! Cardio Kickboxing is an intense total body workout that will take you to the edge, but always have you coming back for more!

 

 

This class will work the different sections of the body as you move through different “stations”. It is a great way to change up your routine and add variety.

 

 

Hopping For Health Pilates

Hopping for Health combines rope jumping, fitness games, along with themed workouts for a great after school activity. Rope jumping helps improve coordination, strength and balance. This class is geared for kids 14 and under. So “hop” on over after school! Parents can pick up kids at 4:30 PM.

 

Pilates is a body conditioning routine that helps to not only build flexibility and lengthen your muscles, but also strength, endurance and coordination in the legs, abdominals, arms and back. Pilates also helps improve alignment and posture.

 

 

Relaxing Yoga Senior Cardio/Fitness

Yoga can be an amazing relaxation tool. Often our bodies are tired, but our minds continue to wander and we are unable to fully relax. This class will help you quiet the mind and gain all the benefits of the healthy downtime we all need at the end of the day.

 

This class is a safe heart-healthy, gentle on the joints workout with range of movement to help energize your day to day life. It is a complete workout of balance, strengthening, resistance and fall prevention. Join in as we stay active with simple yet productive workouts!  

Spinning Spinning for Beginners

Spinning is a cardiovascular workout on a special stationary bicycle. It is suitable for all fitness levels. Whether you are new to working out or looking for a way to stay active through winter, spinning strengthens the legs along with your back and hips.

Ever wanted to try a spinning class but were afraid it would be too hard or advanced? This is the class to try! Get individualized support to prepare you to jump into one of our regular scheduled class. This class will meet the first weekend of every month. Call to reserve your spot.

What is Tai Chi?  It is an exercise in Mind, Body and Spirit that can be practiced by any person in any physical condition for a lifetime!  You will learn to supercharge the Mind, Stretch the Body and Relax the Mind.
Walk "Live" Kids Walk "Live" Kirksville

Much like the adult version, but it is adapted to interest and motivate kids. Kids can walk over after school and parents can pick them up at 4:15 PM.

Walk Live is a smart way to walk miles and get a total body workout. Walking workouts can work for everyone regardless of size, age or fitness level. Our style of walking offers a heart pumping, calorie torching, muscle-toning workout. 

Y Run Club Yoga Fit

Have you ever wanted to run a 5K but not sure where to start? Do you enjoy running for fun, but are looking for something more? The Y has what you’ve been looking for - a running club. We will help you train for your goals - 5K, 10K or perhaps a marathon. Check with the Wellness Director for more information.

Yoga Fit features both strength and conditioning components. It not only works the muscles but also triggers a variety of biochemical and physiological reactions. This leads to improved health and vitality.

Yoga Fit for Kids Zumba

Yoga Fit Kids combines yoga and play. It is playful, creative and fun functional movement, combined with “within” mind body work. We use mindful movements, games, share circles, breath work, and visualization to move energy through the body as we calm the mind. Yoga Fit Kids allows all children to participate at their own level. Kids can walk over after school and parents can pick them up at 4:15 PM.

Zumba combines Latin and pop music with dance movements. As you move to the music, you will transition from toning, strengthing and cardio as you target every major muscle group in the body!

 

Zumbatomics Zumba Gold

Sure, chilling out is cool, but rocking out is a blast. This is a fast forward fusion of the Zumba programs moves designed to let kids max out on fun and fitness all at the same time. Parents can pick up kids at 4:30 pm.

Zumba Gold takes the Zumba formula and modifies the moves and pacing to suit the needs of seniors and/or beginners.
